How I work

My approach is rooted in a compassionate regard and respect for my clients. I believe in providing a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space to explore current and past issues.

I understand that the decision to come for counselling is usually not taken lightly, and that it often requires great courage. I will provide support on your therapeutic journey, whilst recognising your individuality and respecting the need for you to set the pace of the work.

It is vital that you feel I can relate to you and identify with what you are bringing. If for whatever reason you feel this would be too challenging, I will do my best to put you in touch with other counsellors or therapists in my network who may be better suited to your needs.

Psychodynamic counselling is a form of therapy that explores how unconscious processes, and early experiences shape how you experience the world and inform current issues.

This means when working together I may encourage you to make links to the past. The intention is to support you in deepening and expanding your self-enquiry, processing feelings and providing an opportunity to move forward differently.

How it works

Sessions take place for 50 minutes once a week on an ongoing basis, with regular reviews. Together we will agree a set time to meet.

I work from a venue in Cheltenham, and I also see clients online.

Fee: £55 per session. If you are interested to understand more about how we may work together then I offer free initial 15-minute phone consultation.

I look forward to hearing from you!
